Kidnap & Ransom Case in West Africa

VGRM was contracted by a foreign security agency in 2025 to assist with regards to a kidnap/hostage case in West Africa. VGRM was able to leverage its human intelligence HUMINT network to identify the criminal organisation involved, establish indirect communication through back channels to the organisation, confirm the hostage was alive and well, and to determine that the organisation was willing to negotiate and VGRM was further able to determine the ransome amount demanded. At which point a dedicated hostage negotiation team was allocated by the foreign state security agency and took over the case.
